Halloween Competition 2022
- The ghost of History -
Misty Bridge Publishing is proud to present this annual spooky story competition. The judges will be looking for good quality original, unpublished writing with engaging characters and a compelling narrative including an excellent beginning, middle and end. Entries should address the set theme.
Results will be announced at 31 or October on the web page and social media along with the Analogy book launch.
How to Submit
- The Entry fee can be paid using this Link (also see payment section), you will have to use your own personal name and email in the check out and then use the same details to send us your stories. This so that we can process your entry correctly and in the quickest way.
- Then please use the This Contact form to send us the story by copy/pasting the text directly into the message box. Make sure to add same name and email details as in the entry fee application
- We will send out a confirmation email (within 3-5 business days) when we have linked your story to a received entry fee and you have been added to the judges reading list.
(The Judge will not see the names of writers so please do not add your name into the story text, only in the appropriate boxes.)
Can I change my entry after submitting?
You can request to edit your submission up to one week prior to the deadline; just send us a message via email with the name of your story as your subject title.

Eligibility
You can live anywhere in the world however all entered stories must be written in English.
All submissions: Entries must be unpublished, original, and not under consideration elsewhere. They must adhere with Entry Rules (view these in How to Submit).

Halldór H Arnórsson, Writer of the epic fantasy Novel Doomwolf . Of Icelandic decent and growing up in Sweden, he was surrounded by stories of myth and legend.
